We do not sell Ray sensor readings or account-level wellness data.
We do not give Ray readings or wellness insights to advertising networks.
You can ask to access or delete your data and turn off optional collection or sharing.
1. What we collect and why
For this notice, "consumer health data" means personal information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you and relates to your physical or mental health. Some state laws define this broadly enough to include an interest in a wellness product.
We collect these categories only as needed to provide and improve Ray, fulfill your requests, protect the service, or as otherwise disclosed here:
- Ray measurements and wellness insights, such as optical pulse signals, heart rate and heart-rate variability, temperature, movement, steps, sleep, wear status, light exposure, and the summaries or trends calculated from them.
- Device and account information linked to those measurements, such as Ray and account identifiers, pairing and sync status, time zone, firmware, app version, settings, and diagnostics.
- Optional integration and context data, such as information you choose to sync with Apple Health or Google Health Connect, and location, weather, or solar context for features you enable.
- Health-related communications and product activity, such as support messages about a wellness feature and website activity that shows interest in Ray.
We use this information to show measurements, summaries, trends, and other requested features; sync and support Ray; improve measurement quality and product performance; process orders and warranties; respond to you; secure the service; and, for website activity only, measure marketing performance.
2. Where health data comes from
We collect consumer health data from:
- you, including information, permissions, corrections, and messages you provide;
- your Ray, phone, and Chargerless apps;
- Apple Health, Google Health Connect, location, or weather services when you enable a related feature;
- our website and providers that help us operate accounts, orders, support, analytics, security, and other services; and
- our own processing when we calculate a measurement, summary, trend, or product-interest inference.
3. When we share health data
Chargerless does not sell consumer health data. We do not disclose Ray sensor readings, account-level wellness measurements, or precise app location to advertising networks.
We may share consumer health data with:
- Service providers that handle cloud infrastructure, databases, authentication, product analytics, support, security, and other operations under our instructions.
- Apple, Google, or another service you choose when you direct us to use a health, device, location, or weather integration.
- Website analytics and advertising partners for ordinary website activity that may show interest in Ray. They may receive online identifiers, device or browser information, approximate location, and page or purchase activity—but not Ray readings or account-level wellness data.
- Authorities, advisers, or transaction parties when reasonably necessary for law, safety, a legal claim, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- A recipient you choose, when you ask us to send information to that person or service.
Chargerless currently has no affiliates with which it shares consumer health data. If the categories of health data, purposes, or sharing described here materially change, we will provide any notice or consent required by law.
4. Your consumer health data rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and provide access to it;
- provide a list of third parties or affiliates that received it;
- stop future collection or sharing based on your consent;
- delete your consumer health data; or
- review an appeal if we decline your request.
Email support@getchargerless.com with "Consumer Health Data Request" in the subject, use our contact form, or use an available in-app request method. You do not need to create a new account to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
We will respond within 45 days when required, with one additional 45-day extension when reasonably necessary. Deletion from archived or backup systems may take up to six months where permitted. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the same address with "Consumer Health Data Appeal" in the subject. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
